Text stating my email account will be deleted due to no use

I have been receiving text messages stating that my email account will be deleted due to non-use. I access my email frequently if not daily please assist.

@user_mtk2o6 Welcome to our community forum! I'd be concerned if I got a notification about an Email account being closed when I rely on it for important communications. Thank you for reaching out so we can guide you to a successful resolution :). 

Do you currently have Xfinity service or are you using an Email account from a previous time you had Xfinity service? For previous customers, you can view details to keep your Email account active here.

@user_mtk2o6 if you are using a third party email app like Outlook or Thunderbird, you need to be logging into the email website at least once every 9 months.  Personally I tell people to log in to the website at least every 90 days, if for nothing more than to "tidy up" so to speak.  That way, too, you can see how much space you have left of your 10 GB of storage and if you need to "shed" any old emails.
