This feature requires Xfinity internet

Xfinity upgraded my modem yesterday. Today I cannot access my network apps, like Netflix, Prime, YouTube. I did not request the upgrade, Xfinity reached out to me saying this is needed for changes coming soon on their end. Is this an entitlement issue, a modem bug, or some type of upsell ploy? With the old modem I had access, not I do not. I am already paying $252 a month.

@user_j6jf4l We appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us here on our Xfinity Forums. I'm sorry to hear that you are having difficulties accessing those streaming apps. Typically, a modem upgrade wouldn't affect any of those apps. Are you receiving an error message when you try to access them? What type of device are you using to view them? Are you able to view them on different devices? The more information you provide the better we will be able to assist.
