Time to File a Complaint with the FCC

Sick and tired of not being able to get a live Xfinity rep on the phone. I work from home. My internet has been down since 7am yesterday. I have tried calling numerous times but can never get anyone on the phone because the automated system doesn't give you the option to talk to ANYONE or any other department when there's an outage noted on the account. I've signed onto my account to try and chat with an agent, but again, it doesn't give you the option to talk to anyone in any format if there's an "outage" detected on your account. Earlier this week someone with Xfinity asked if they could have access to my backyard because they were installing lines. I made it clear to them that I had a dog and that they needed to make sure the gate was closed when they were done. I also made it clear that I worked from home and that if at any time the internet needed to be interrupted, that they would please let me know so I could make arrangements to work elsewhere during that time. They agreed. The next day, we found 2 pickets from our fence were removed so they could run the lines through to our neighbors yards. I guess they didn't reinstall them properly because my dog got out and was missing for hours. Now I'm going on 2 days with no internet. Thankfully my neighbor has AT&T internet and allowed me to use her Wifi today so I could work. I'm tired of not being able to talk to a live agent so I'll be filing a complaint with the FCC.

@user_4n1pdb Hello and good afternoon. Thanks for posting to the community. We appreciate it, and are happy you thought of us to assist. We have the best tools, just like the Xfinity Assistant. It is the best resource to manage the account and service online. It is my favorite as I can check the service health, and also reboot the wifi for dinner time. That ensures the kids come to eat, and that makes me very happy. Here is a link that I found for you to make it easy to use https://www.xfinity.com/xfinityassistant/. Let us know if you need additional assistance once your case with the FCC is resolved. This community is here to assist with help from employees and the community.
