Trying to start service but Xfinity is refusing
I am trying to get Xfinity service setup but keep getting the runaround about my home. Xfinity keeps telling me that my home is part of a "new cable construction project" that won't complete until October. But that does not make any sense - I already moved into my home and have lived here for the past two weeks already. I cannot go without internet for 2 months. Can someone please help me? I do not know why Xfinity is tracking an October construction date, I already live in my home. I've talked to multiple customer service reps on the phone and in person at Xfinity stores but no one seems to be able to update the "system" so I can schedule an install for internet and TV.

Good morning @mciampa6 thank you for your interest in our service. We would be happy to check on the service address for you.
Please send us a DM with your full name and address to Xfinity Support.
To send a direct message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
