Two separate internet accounts with separate services at the same address.

What is involved in setting up a second xfinity service account at an address that already has an in-use service? The property has a large garage with a separate electric utility meter with its own address for the power company, not a registered UPS separate address. Is it possible to get a separate access point installed in the garage and run across the power lines going to the garage, or will I better off getting a business account and service to run from the primary residence on the property? The garage has separate incoming overhead power lines from the primary residence on the property. I greatly appreciate any help or even what phone numbers to call.

Hello @user_hmpn23. Thank you for reaching out on our Community forum. All of this depends on your address and what state you live in. A lot of the time it needs to be a secondary address registered with USPS, but we can take a look for you.

Please send us a direct message with your full name and address so that we can assist you further.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it.
