Universal Studios ETDS Login issues

I need the password to be reset as i have been locked out and the ‘security question’ will not accept my answers

Hello, @user_e91yu8, and thank you for creating a post with your password concerns. This is a common point of confusion, but we actually cannot reset this password or unlock your account.

 

The login you are trying to access is for ETDS (Electronic Ticket Delivery System), which is an internal corporate platform managed directly by Universal Studios for their partners and employee perks. Because it is a completely separate Universal system, our tools do not have access to your security questions or account credentials.

 

To get back into your account, you will need to contact the Universal technical support team directly. Look for an IT Support Link: Check the main ETDS login page for an "IT Help Desk," "Forgot Password," or contact link specifically designated for external partners and users. Contact your program coordinator: If you are accessing this through a specific employee discount portal or company program, the administrator of that program often has a direct line to Universal's partner support team to request an account reset.

Universal sends me back to Xfinity. There is no IT or customer support link in the ETDS website. Universal tells me to return to who provided me the promotional redemption code.

@user_e91yu8 - I completely understand your frustration. Being trapped in a loop where Universal tells you to go to us, and our tools literally don't have a button to fix it, is incredibly annoying.


The ETDS (Electronic Ticket Delivery System) website is entirely a Universal Studios platform. Universal’s system assumes that because we distributed the promotional code, we act as your "admin." However, we only have access to standard Xfinity telecom accounts (billing, internet, TV, etc.). We have absolutely no visibility or administrative tools inside Universal's ETDS system. If an agent tries to reset your password, we can only reset your Xfinity password, which won't help you log into Universal.

 

Since Universal's phone support line often blocks non-employees by asking for an Employee ID, the best way to get Universal's backend team to manually override or reset your account is to submit a digital case through their external partner portal. You can bypass the login screen by using Universal's Public Partner Community Support Form:

 

1. Go to the Universal Partner Community Contact Form.

2. Fill out your contact information.

3. In the Subject, write: "Locked out of ETDS portal account - Xfinity Promotion".

4. In the Description, explicitly explain: "I received a promotional redemption code through Xfinity. I am locked out of the ETDS portal because the security questions are failing. Universal phone support told me to contact my admin, but Xfinity customer care does not have administrative access to Universal's internal ETDS tool. I need a manual password or security question reset."

 

This should route your ticket directly to the Universal technical team that manages external business partner accounts, rather than their general theme park guest services.

You must first create your own public post requesting assistance, and once a Comcast verified employee responds and asks for a private message to be sent, you can then proceed with doing so.
