Unlink pods from my closed account

I have cancelled my service and need to have my Xfinity Pods (Serial Numbers: [Edited: "Personal Information"] and [Edited: "Personal Information"]) manually unlinked/deactivated from my closed account so I can sell them.

@tsbaity Thank you for giving us the opportunity to unlink your pods from your account via Forums. I would be more than happy to review your account to see what we can do to get this taken card of for you. Please send a direct message by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, click on the pen and paper icon, then enter “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section.

Hi there, @user_4xhxlm! We are glad to further help with the equipment. Do you have an active account with us? You can easily remove the WiFi Extenders from the Xfinity app if you do, https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/activate-xfi-pod-with-xfi-app. If your account is no longer active, our system normally removes any owned equipment after 30 days.

No longer have an account and its been longer than 30 days.  So no need to cancel, manually unlink / deactivate / deprovision the pods from my closed account?

user_4xhxlm - Since this is a self-service process, we cannot guarantee we'll be able to remove the Pods after the account has been disconnected. However we'll certainly do our best to help and explore any available options with you. So other readers may benefit:

If you're no longer using your WiFi Extenders, plan to return or exchange them, or would like to give them to someone else, you'll need to remove them from your home network first.

You can do this yourself through the Xfinity app:

Sign in to the Xfinity app.
Select the WiFi tab.
Tap View WiFi Equipment.
Choose the WiFi Extender you want to remove.
Select Device Details.
Tap Remove WiFi Extender.
When prompted, tap Remove to confirm.

Repeat these steps for any additional WiFi Extenders you'd like to remove from your network.
