When can I expect mid-split at my house?

I've been patiently waiting for the new mid-split speeds to become available and the silence from Xfinity is deafening. If I put some of my neighbors' addresses into the broadband labels site, the new mid-split speeds show up, but at my address they still do not. My home is near an intersection, but the streets in both directions have the new speeds. The house right across the street from me has them, and in the other direction a house about six houses down, but no more than a half mile in distance. Surely this means that it should not be terribly difficult/costly to finish the expansion, but it's been over a year at this point. Is there a way I can request the upgrade at my house?

Hey there, @user_kta3lb, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding your mid-split. There is no way to request the speed upgrades. We are working to get all locations upgraded. I would recommend checking your email as we will email you before the work is started for your location to let you know you are expecting to receive the new speeds. We truly appreciate your patience and excitement for those new speeds.

Than, you for the prompt response @XfinityJeniece, but this is disappointing to say the least. If Comcast has an actual plan to finish the upgrade that they obviously already started in my area, then surely someone has a timetable. The least they could do is discount the plans for those of us stuck on the old tier. The advertised price for the top tier at my neighbors' addresses and mine are both $110/month, but their "typical speeds" are 2278/293 and mine are 1374/41. How is that acceptable?

user_kta3lb I definitely understand how frustrating this is. I'm happy to double check and see if your location shows that you are eligible for the faster speeds and if it's an issue of the plan you are on, or if a modem may need to be provisioned. Just send us a DM to Xfinity Support with your full name and address to get started.

To send a direct message:

Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pen and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
