Where to complaint the Live Agent marketing problem?

I just did chatting with a live agent for my TV Box issue and At the very end of our chat, it seems everything went well and I was asked to check my email for confirmation while he was waiting. Then I lost the chat. so I tried to get a new one and retell my issue. it appeared that that agent was helping me then out of nowhere that person started selling me their phones or phone line for free. I was so annoyed . I said I don't need it. stopped selling it. just solved my issues. That person said " I was not trying to sell you anything but wanted to offer the promotion so that you were aware". Then the person just disappeared . IS it helping or what? Then the chat screen said the chat was inactive for 24 hours? It was not true. that's the lie. I am really mad. That marketing person just vanished not even solving about my problem. and another new one came in. I don't feel like I was treated with any respect. I am a customer for Xfinity since it was Comcast. This is very rude. In USA, I don't think your customers are not that desperate to get a free phone if they can afford your not very cheap TV and internet services. Time to think your strategy and retrain your agent.

Hello @user_cnvlzw, and thank you for sharing your experience with us and providing such detailed feedback here on our Xfinity Community forums.

We can certainly understand how frustrating it would be to have your chat disconnected while trying to resolve a TV Box issue, especially when you were expecting a solution, while also receiving what you perceive to be misplaced messaging you have expressed no interest in receiving.

We wanted to check in and see if you're still needing assistance with the TV Box issue you originally contacted us about. If so, we'd be happy to help. Could you provide a few additional details about the problem you're experiencing with the TV Box, such as any error messages you're seeing, what the box is or isn't doing, and any troubleshooting steps you've already tried?

The more information you can share, the better we can understand the issue and work toward a resolution.

I talked with the Live agent about my issue already . I don't want to discuss it again.

But do not miss the point here. I am here because of  you agent how he did the marketing out of nowhere in the middle of conversation which was nothing to do with free stuffs and just vanished without helping my issue. I had to talk to another agent again. There is no instant response in the chat session and waiting time in between. So it took some ime roughly one hour to solve the issue. That is my point in case you don't see it. Hope you know what to do.

Good Morning, @user_cnvlzw I completely understand your point, and I'm truly sorry for the experience you've had. It sounds like the biggest issue wasn't just the time it took to resolve your concern, but that the conversation was interrupted by an unexpected sales or marketing pitch that had nothing to do with the issue you were trying to resolve. I can appreciate how frustrating that must have been. Having to wait between responses, not receiving immediate assistance, and then needing to start over with another agent after the first one left the conversation would test anyone's patience. Spending roughly an hour to get help because of those interruptions is certainly not the experience you should expect when reaching out for support. Thank you for taking the time to clarify your concerns. Feedback like this is important because it highlights how the customer experience can be impacted when the focus shifts away from resolving the issue at hand. We sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience this caused, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. ❤️
