Where/when does the equipment come?
I just purchased Xfinity wifi for my new apartment in another state. I set up a time slot for the service installation. But I will not be moving in until the date of the appointment, and I do not know if the equipment will be brought with the serviceman setting up the Internet service or if it will be mailed beforehand (which I cannot do). Does the service worker bring the actual Internet equipment (router, modem, etc.) for the appointment when he/she arrives?

Since you set up a day/time for service installation, the technician should be bringing all needed equipment to get you installed and working. There are some factors, like if you selected "personal equipment" that can change this( it doesn't sound like you did that) We'd be happy to double-check the order and ensure everything is good to go.
