Why does my estimated outage repair say “as soon as possible” instead of giving an actual time?

Why does my estimated outage repair say “as soon as possible” instead of giving an actual time? Those who work from home rely on internet.

Thanks for meeting us here in our community, @user_y3wpx9. We're happy to help. Sometimes we don't have an estimated time of repair, and this could be due to many reasons. One is having an unplanned interruption like a power line down, or electrical incident where we would depend on other utilities to correct an issue before we could get in to fix it. Accidents or weather where lines may be down or affected would also be a cause. We recommend watching your Xfinity app, and text messages for an update. You can also keep an eye on your service on our, Xfinity Status Center.

The Xfinity status center link is a joke. We have power at home and have not lost power. We work from home and need reliable internet. Where is an actual outage map that shows useful information? Your outage map shows just a purple icon where my house exists. It’s horrible doing business with you, Xfinity.
