Won’t get serviced unless I pay $15,000 portion
Hello, so I have been trying to get Xfinity for over a year now. I had technicians come out and they found out my line is damaged underground. They said they need 3rd party contractors to come out and do the job. A few days later the supervisor of the technicians came out and said I would have to pay $15,000 for them to bury the line and do a street cut. I called up Xfinity and asked for help and they told me that there would be no charge. To add to this, I had a sales manager come out and 100% guarantee me that there would be no charge at all to get serviced even for burying the line and doing street cut. The box is on my neighbor's front lawn about 100-200 feet max. This manager that came out contacted his regional manager, and she also guaranteed me that there would be no charge. Now this is some false advertisement because I really really want Xfinity but I am not paying no $15,000 portion. That’s not no PORTION

Apparently there is no workaround. They want to charge me a contribution of $15,000. On what planet is that a contribution. Mind you it’s not like I live in the middle of nowhere. My neighbors next door and all around me has Xfinity. So to charge me $15,000 as a contribution is absurd and there is no negotiation. Even though I was guaranteed I wouldn’t get charged. Very unfortunate because I really wanted Xfinity.
