Worst customer service experience, over and over again!
Xfinity might be saving money by hiring agents in India to handle their customer service inquiries, but in the long run, you’re only hurting your customers and ruining your business. It never fails. Every time you call the phone number you can’t get a live person, then they send you to the chat. You ask for a live person and you get somebody on the phone who goes over a script, you get disconnected and another agent comes on and goes over the exact same script. You spend an hour on the phone. You get absolutely nowhere. Like I said, this isn’t a one time experience. This is the same experience over and over again like you’re living in the movie Groundhog Day. Tonight all I wanted to do was change the due date that my automatic payment comes out. An hour later and nobody was able to help me. I spoke to three customer service reps and they kept disconnecting the call and then the new person would get on and start all over from scratch and I’m no better for it and nothing‘s been resolved. Xfinity really should think about completely changing how they do their customer service. Bring it back to America and hire people to answer the phone so you could speak to a live agent.

Hi there, @user_bsyn9g! We are happy to further assist with your questions about automatic payments and the due date. Automatic payments are taken on your bill due date. This link shows how to change your due date, https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/due-date-change. That takes 2 billing cycles to fully update on your account.
If you are unable to make the payment on the due date with your automatic payment, you can remove your automatic payment at least 24 hours before it is due. Otherwise, we will attempt to process the payment on your due date. Removing automatic payments or a failed automatic payment can affect the $10 automatic payment and paperless billing discount. It takes up to 45 days to reapply if it is removed. If you become past due on your account, we have options to set up a payment arrangement so you have more time to pay.
Please let me know if this helps or if you have further questions.
