Worst customer service
Been using this service for 3 months at my new address, and have needed assistance 4 times. The Xfinity Assistant is worthless and doesn’t help. When you finally text or speak to someone, it’s questionable if they understood my problem. That can happen to anyone but every single time is a bit much. It takes 15 minutes of “troubleshooting” with the AI assistant before you can even talk to a representative or text one. And then you still have to go through 2-3 of those before they have a grasp of what you need.
In this case, I received a notification from my security suite that someone was remotely accessing my son’s laptop. One of the steps was to have the Internet provider reset my İP address, but Xfinity is in no way capable of completing such a task. Can’t speak to a representative without going through the 15 minutes of worthless “help” from
the AI assistant just to be told that nothing is wrong with my connection … which was never my problem. This is the worst possible customer service. Pay some people to work rather than investing in an AI that can’t do anything other than waste my time. To top it all off, I wrote a detailed explanation here and after submitting it, was told there was an error and sent back to the beginning. Even the forum is worthless. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
