Would like to underground the cable

I’m getting my electric undergrounded, and the electrician put in an extra pipe for the cable to go underground. Would like Xfinity to put the cable in the undergrounded pipe.

Hello @user_jq1mdm, thank you for taking the time to leave a post.  I understand you’d like to have your Xfinity cable placed in the underground pipe your electrician installed. has the Xfinity line already been buried and now needs to be relocated into the new underground pipe? Or are you waiting for the line to be buried and would like it placed in the pipe before that happens?

@user_jq1mdm, thank you for that information. Since the line is an aerial drop, and you would like it to be changed to an underground drop, we would need to schedule a drop relocation. A technician must first visit the home to survey the location, and it is not guaranteed that we can relocate the line. There's a $100 non-refundable charge to have a technician visit the home to determine if we can relocate the drop. If we can't complete the request, the $100 non-refundable charge still applies. Do you have any property constraints that may prevent us from performing the survey or relocation (e.g., fencing, locked gates, pools, ponds, trees, etc.)? Would you like to move forward with scheduling the appointment?

user_jq1mdm Happy to help.

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" If necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person".

Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
