Written help transferring Comcast Business Mobile to residential Xfinity Mobile

Could an Xfinity support specialist help with moving existing Comcast Business Mobile lines to residential Xfinity Mobile associated with an existing home Xfinity Internet account? The business internet service has ended, and the goal is to keep the existing phone numbers and review available bundle pricing.

The home Xfinity Internet account and the Comcast Business Mobile account are under different account holders' names. Please explain whether this transfer is eligible and what authorization or participation is required from each account holder.

Before making any changes, we need to understand the full monthly price and one-time fees, and what would happen to existing device installments and promotional credits.

Comcast Business chat directed us to phone support, and Xfinity Assistant failed twice when connecting to a live agent. We would prefer to resolve this in writing. Please explain the next steps and, if account verification is needed, invite us to the appropriate private support channel. This is an information request only, not authorization to transfer or change service.

Greetings @user_znhrs2,

Yes you can move those lines that were with Comcast Business Mobile to Xfinity Mobile. Does the Xfinity internet account have any Xfinity mobile lines attached to it already? The process would differ based on your answer to that question.

Thank you! The home account has Xfinity Internet only, with no Xfinity Mobile lines attached. The home Internet and Comcast Business Mobile accounts are under different account holders, as noted above. What are the next steps to move the existing Business Mobile lines while keeping their numbers? Please explain the authorization needed from each account holder, the full monthly price and any one-time fees, and how existing device installments and promotional credits would be handled. We would prefer to continue in writing; please invite us to private messaging if account details are needed. We are requesting information before authorizing any service changes.

This would be a general port of the phone numbers to Xfinity Mobile. We can assist you with this. Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? Our team can most definitely take a further look at this issue. To send a "Direct Message":
Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message chat" icon
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it
