xb6 gateway loud fan noise

I recently received an XB6 gateway, and within a only a few days of installation, the fan began to make a loud humming noise that I can hear throughout my apartment. this has been going on for several weeks now, and the gateway is only a month old. I would like to start the process of requesting a replacement.
