Good morning @p-y, and thanks for reaching out to us on the Xfinity Forums, I hope you are having a good day. I am sorry to hear that you are unable to remove the old service address on the Xfinity app. When you try and do it on the app, are you getting an error?
There is no option. Customer representative in-store said it couldn't be done online and Xfinity designed it that way so customers can review old information. He also couldnt do it in-store.
I dont need to access previous billing at an address I didnt even live at or previous address I just moved from. All my outstanding bills are and have been settled for previous accounts. Plus when I access my online account. the current address is not even defaulted to! Doesn't Xfinity retain this information on their servers anyway?? A customer could call in, in that case. Why can't a customer even have option to hide old account information? If not, why can't it even default to current address to prevent confusion?
When it comes to previous service addresses showing up in the Xfinity app, if you transferred services seamlessly from one address to another, or if you transferred your same Xfinity ID login information, it would be normal for previously associated addresses to show up in the Xfinity app when using that same login purely for record keeping purposes. I know you motioned that the app defaults to the previous address when you login, but are you able to access your current service address using that same login as well?
Thank you for choosing Xfinity p-y. Managing your Xfinity accounts is easy and can be done in a few steps. Want to link, unlink, or switch between accounts or delete old service address(s)? Just sign in at xfinity.com with your Xfinity ID and password.
Here’s how:
Click the Account icon > Account and Identity > Xfinity ID and Security. Scroll to Your Accounts and select Manage and link accounts. Verify your identity via the Xfinity app, text, or email and then to unlink an account:
Click Unlink next to the account. If it’s your default, choose another account as default first. Confirm by selecting Unlink Account.
Once unlinked, you’ll lose access unless the Primary user adds you back. Primary users can also remove others under Account and Identity. Included below is a link with more details and inforamtion. Please let us know if this information was helpful. Link, unlink, and switch between multiple Xfinity accounts
