Xfinity hot spot

My device can no longer find xfinity WiFi hotspot

I’ve been using the xfinity hotspot in my area to connect my Nintendo switch to online gaming…it’s been working fine and then all the sudden it disconnected me lastnight and my switch can no longer find the “xfinitywifi” connection I’ve been using for days. All other devices in my home can find it but now my switch cannot. Any advice? My switch won’t connect to my own xfinity WiFi so my only option was the xfinity hotspot.

user_l5gdgv Good morning! We appreciate you reaching out to our Community Forums Team for assistance with your connection. I can definitely see how it would be frustrating not being able to connect your device. I would be happy to get you in the right direction. When you try and search fro a network, are there any networks coming up to connect to? Are there any troubleshooting steps you have already tried with your Nintendo Switch?

All other networks come up.

if I could just connect using my own xfinity WiFi that would solve the problem but I keep getting a “dns resolution error” when I try to connect. I have xb7
