Xfinity Installation Support
I am requesting an escalation to intercept an active OneDrop construction ticket before unnecessary 811 utility locating and trenching occurs on my property.
I recently moved into a new townhouse, and my installation has been delayed due to a blocked conduit.
The Situation: There is an existing, capped conduit running directly from the aerial distribution box to my unit's built-in coax network.
The Issue: Two different field techs have been dispatched. The second tech attempted to use fishing tape, but it got stuck. He submitted a OneDrop ticket (Confirmation # [Edited: "Personal Information"]) specifically requesting a drop bury crew with a specialized vacuum line puller to thread the cable through this existing conduit.
The Problem: The automated OneDrop system has triggered a 14-day standard drop-bury workflow, including automated site surveys and excavation notifications.
No trenching or digging is required at this address. The physical labor will only take about an hour once a crew with a vacuum puller arrives to clear the existing conduit.
Could you please intercept this ticket with the local Seattle construction dispatch team? I want to ensure they send a crew equipped to vacuum-pull the conduit, rather than sending an excavation crew to dig a redundant trench.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
