Xfinity NOW is actually not now

The lies don’t end. So my mom works at least 60 hours a week and all she wanted to do was watch tv today on her only off day. I researched and found the most affordable way being the $30 Xfinity Now plan that would give her “same-day” access to WiFi so she could enjoy watching a movie or show. We went to the Xfinity store and the rep told us that we would have to go to a corporate store instead, then the corporate store told us that we could only order the device, however it would be ok since we could still access the WiFi immediately. However once we got back home we quickly found out that that is also a lie, after speaking with 2 different tech reps, the last one finally reveals that we actually have to wait until the Xfinity hardware comes in the mail before we can connect the tv to internet.

What a shame, you guys stressed us out tremendously just to get $30??? We would have easily went to Walmart for a straight talk WiFi, or even Total wireless instead we were manipulated by multiple Xfinity employees to believe as long as we paid $30 that we could have same day internet; hence Xfinity Now…apparently not and now my mom has to just sit at home using her mobile phone for entertainment for the rest of the weekend up until who knows when because I don’t even believe the hardware will come in 3 business days like the phone rep promised since everyone has lied to us so far. I wish we would’ve never paid that $30 and instead went with an internet provider that has integrity about telling the actual truth before taking your payment. I feel so bad because I know how hard and how much my mom works and all she wanted to do was sit in her living room and watch some tv. We were both foolish to trust Xfinity.
