Xfinity NOW issues
I tried to switch to Xfinity NOW a week ago and haven’t received my equipment. I was told it would be fast and simple, as the in store employees didn’t know how to help me. (Their words, not mine.). Is there anything I can do to get an update on my order, or maybe actually receive my equipment soon?

user_fa52ai thank you for using the Community Forums to reach out. Getting working equipment is extremely important for access to the Xfinity experience you deserve. Our Xfinity NOW service is managed by a different portion of the company, however I would still like to see what information we can gather on our end related to your order. My brother in law is in the same situation. His first modem didn’t work so he went into a store to exchange it. It’s a long story but no one seems to know how to help. He has been to an Xfinity its store 4 - 5 times. The last time they said they’d send a modem and it still hasn’t arrived and I don’t believe it will arrive. I’m working with him to bring his matter to the State Attorney General’s office. He is low income but not enough for the low income internet program and the Now program is the only one he can afford. Any ideas how to resolve this problem?

I am having a similar issue and I cannot access the website as it just continuously loads. I could get through the onboarding to pay for the equipment but nothing else on the Now website seems to work. Very disappointed that such a large company is backing something that does not seem to work.

I came home from the Xfinity store yesterday where they told me that NOW Internet has a low income requirement. I explained to them that the low income plan is called Internet Essentials not NOW Internet but they refused to listen to me. I went home and checked the Xfinity site and figured out that the reason the reps in the store could not offer me NOW Internet is that NOW Internet is not available to current Xfinity customers. So you have to cancel your current service before you can sign up for NOW Internet. Thankfully, it seems like there isn't a waiting period. But yes, Xfinity literally hides the NOW Internet option from their own reps when they are talking to existing customers. Just one (or maybe three) more examples of how Xfinity is using their monopoly power to make things worse for its customers.

My modem will not activate and not a single employee is competent enough to help. Just waited a half hour in line in store to be told “we don’t handle Xfinity Now”. This is a scam. They have my money and I have no internet. Buyer Beware.
