Needing services confirmation that services are closed out. I went into a Xfinity store to cancel my service. I returned the rented equipment which was the modem/router device, then the store representative told me that my service was canceled, and that my Xfinity account would be deleted.
My service does appear to be stopped when logging into my Xfinity account on the app, but herein lies the problem, I am still able to log into my Xfinity account. I would like to delete my Xfinity account completely.
Once your account has been disconnected, you will no longer be able to access or log in to the traditional Xfinity My Account. However, you will have the option to access a limited version of Xfinity My Account to pay and check for any remaining balance on your account. That being said we are unable to fully delete your account out of our system. We keep the account information for future review if needed especially by you.
