connecting ring cameras

Hello,

I split my bands and I still cannot install my ring cameras. It is not finding my 2.4 band. Please help.

Hi user_wo2711, thanks for adding to our community and sharing some of your time here on our Forum. I can see why you'd want your cameras connected to your network, and how important this is. To confirm, are you using your own modem or a Xfinity gateway? If you're using our gateway, do you happen to know the model? With our newer models, the ability to split your Wi-Fi channels has been removed, so it's not something you'd be able to do.
