Icamera 1000 from xfinity -stalls on firmware update-I had a new touch pad installed ( end of life old one)

Once wife got home we tried the cameras we had no video, just spinning wheels, i thought it would just be a simple reconnect and deleted the old ones in the folder on the touch pad, so I could add the new ones. This did not work, the app finds it then stalls during the firmware update. I have tried so many resets on everything I can think of. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks

I asked about the old iCameras and was told they are end of life, obsolete now. We too had to get a new touchscreen and the old iCamera was always having problems. Incidentally, if you should cancel your home security that old ICamera will no longer work w/o a connected touchscreen. It will just keep blinking. You’re better off to go to the xfinity store and buy the little indoor camera. That’s way if you shut off the home security you can still self monitor.
