Low battery on SMC SMCDW01-Z after NEW CR2 battery installed

Battery voltage (per fluke 87 DVM) on the NEW CR2 measured at 3.257 VDC.  I've tried other NEW CR-2 batteries, I've cleaned contacts, I've spent several hours on this.  The green light is very bright after battery insertion. 100% signal seems odd to me on a low battery. Any ideas. Thanks! Tim

edit: the system no longer AUTO blocks it when arming, even with the LOW battery indication.  It's still an alarm tripping sensor.

tim_t35fu7s Can you please try to remove the sensor and then add it back? The low battery indicator appears to be a glitch that can be resolved by removing and re-adding.

@XfinityBenjaminM All I can see is 'Repair Sensor'.  I see no REMOVE option.  AFAIK, I lost that functionality when Xfinity did away with the 4321 and tech level access :)  I hated that :) I figure next time it's truly low, the alarm will bypass the sensor.  Thanks!

tim_t35fu7s See if 'Repair Sensor' will remove the low battery alert. Otherwise, you may need to take the cover off, and remove the battery, there is a small button directly next to a sticker with the device info (model, serial number, etc), this will set the device back to default settings.
