Security window sensor
Shows battery needs to be replaced. I’ve replaced and monitor and ap continue to say battery needs to be replaced even after I have tried at least 5 times with new batteries.
the sensor was not moved so it should be aligned right. Can’t figure out what’s wrong.
green light starts out steady and then blinks a few times.
the ap shows it is connected to WiFi. Just keeps showing battery needs to be replaced.
could it be that it went yo factory setting when I changed battery? But I’ve changed batteries throughout my house the last few years and have never had this problem

Hey @user_azzdv1, thank you for reaching out to Xfinity Support on forums. It is possible it needs to be reset or did reset. It can also happen if the sensor isn't closing all of the way. Can you check our site here to see what type of sensor it is?
