Hey @user_6rser8. Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. With the Xfinity Cameras, there is a built-in Light Sensor that is used to help detect daytime and nighttime transitions to support day and night mode operation. There is no manual toggle. This will help utilize the IR LEDs used to support night mode operation.

I am having trouble turning off Night Vision on my camera that faces the street?

@user_es4tec Thanks for adding to the thread. In the newer cameras, you can open the Xfinity app, go to the Security tab, select your camera, tap the gear icon (settings), and toggle the Night Vision setting to Off.

Night vision can now be toggled on and off for our newest cameras - the Xfinity Video Doorbell, the Indoor Camera (xCam3) and Indoor/Outdoor Camera (xCam2).

The setting is available in the Xfinity App (not the Xfinity Home app).

Once logged in to the Xfinity App, go to the Home tab and tap on the camera.  Next, click on the Settings icon in the upper-right.  You'll see the option to toggle Night Vision on and off here, along with other options such as configuring Notifications and turning camera sound on and off.

I hope that helps!
