Henderson601, Hi there! Great question! Since there wasn’t previously a doorbell installed at your home, the Xfinity Video Doorbell will need to be mounted and have the appropriate wiring installed to provide it with power. This may require drilling and running wiring through the wall before installing the mounting bracket, doorbell, and indoor chime kit. Once the doorbell is powered and the light is blinking white, you can enable Bluetooth on your phone, stay near the doorbell, and follow the Xfinity app prompts to finish setting it up. This is a great link for more details on installing an Xfinity Doorbell. Please let me know if this helps.
