Xfinity Home security problems

I have been a xfinity customer for over 20 years. Many years ago I signed up for Xfinity Home security complete with CO2, smoke, six security cameras, etc.

I was first told that CO2 monitoring was no longer offered, and I should just take it down. Next, all six of my security cameras (which I bought from XFINITY) stopped working all at the same time. I was told my only option was to purchase new cameras because the ones I purchased from XFINITY were no longer Support.

I now have a smoke detector which continually goes off and I’ve had three technicians come out and look at it. I was told that XFINITY would be getting updated models, but they were not available yet so I would just need to wait.

XFINITY is charging me the same now as when I first signed up for the service. How is this reasonable?

I definitely would not recommend Xfinity Home security systems to anyone. I would love to talk to Senior management about my ongoing problems, but no one seems to be interested. I never hear from anyone. I will be moving my service to a Company with better customer relations, and better products.

Thank you, [Edit: Name Removed]

Thank you for reaching out. I see you've had some trouble with your existing Xfinity home equipment and services. Along with some features that were no longer supported, leading to some changes for you. If, after serveral tech visits, the remaining equipment is still not performing as expected, we can certainly explore this further. During the tech visit, were they able to review the cameras as well, or did they solely focus on the smoke detector?

Thank you for reaching out. To answer your question, I had three separate tech visits regarding the cameras alone. The most recent Tec visit was for the smoke detector. They did finally get it re-mounted and functioning for now. However, the camera issues still exist, and there does not seem to be any workable solution. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
