$0 Credit With Xfinity
The first thing they did was lied about me getting a free Apple watch today, I should have known then. They asked for my [edit all caps][full social]!!! Excuse me? I have been with this company for 15 years. I have never had an issue changing plans or upgrading until today. How do I go from 5lines with a $2500 budget to $0 Credit. By Xfinity illegally checking my credit score every month and watching it plummet. I pay my bill religiously. I have paid off several cell phones. Now after telling me their dark secret I understand. [Do not go with Xfinity Mobile][edit for all caps]. They illegally check your credit without your permission and change your credit line monthly. I am taking legal action against this company. I do not know who you are or what company bought you out, but this is not the Xfinity I signed up for!! Last I go to the store for clarification with my passport that is 30 day expired. And they treat me like a criminal. We can’t discuss your account they said!! There is nothing we can do for you [edit][regardless]! I bet, because you are hiding crooked things. I am disgusted and look for a new company to go to. You will take my money and check my credit without seeing ID, but won’t talk to me in person. This company is trash. I need an explanation now or I am starting a cancellation movement!

@user_l80mvx Xfinity Mobile isn't doing anything shady by checking your credit. They are simply following industry practices. Any company that offers any type of credit does this. Credit cards, banks, utilities, and so on. All cell phone providers do this. Especially when they are giving you free products and offering interest free payments, or bill credits with terms. They will also ask for social or DOB to confirm identity to prevent fraud.
I would reach out to Xfinity Mobile for an explanation. They owe you that. It may be because you still have items on your account you are paying off. They will let you know.
