Cell phone pay off

I recently switched from Verizon cell phone service to Xfinity. I received a new phone from Xfinity. I returned my old phone as directed by Xfinity. Verizon just charged me $360 for the old phone which was supposed to be handled by Comcast. I was not supposed to be charged the payoff. How do I get reimbursed?
