Comcast wont unlock dual sim card on S24 ultra

I purchased a a S24 ultra through Xfinity specifically for the use of the dual sim card function. I work overseas and need to swap pSIM cards depending on what country I am in. I use a eSIM for Xfinity but Xfinity has my pSIM port locked for use with a second SIM unless I completely pay off the phone. Been a loyal customer, never late on a payment and I other than owning the phone outright I cannot use one of it's basic functions. Xfinity does not warn you that you cannot use dual sim if you make payments. Further still, if I was told that if I pay for the phone outright, which I offered to do, I was told I would lose the discounted promotion I have for the phones because the discount is tied to the payments.... lol fantastic.

Xfinity I am not trying to swap services, I am trying to use the phone for the whole reason I chose this phone for.  Fix this or warn people that you cannot have dual sims with your phones.

@user_4cph44 You are supposed to be able to use a different carriers SIM on the other port for travel. In addition to the Xfinity eSIM. Not sure why port is locked. Did you reach out to Xfinity Mobile support for assistance? And they told you otherwise? And yes, don't pay off the phone or you'll lose the credits.

I have and they have not. I got the stocl answer provided that I need to purchase the phone outright before the will unlock the dual sim port. If it is supposed to be unlocked for travelling, how or rwther what do I say to direct them, so they can find that answer in the system?

user_4cph44 Hmm, since it is technically an unlock request that may be why you've been told the device needs to be paid off first, which is one of the requirements. Try explaining your situation that you travel abroad and that since the device has dual sim card functionality see if an exception can be made. Unfortunately, if they still advise you of the device pay off there isn't a way around that.
