Delayed Order - Trade In Pending

I ordered an iPhone 17. It shipped on 9/2 and has been stuck in West Virginia since 9/3. I have to send my phone in for a trade-in, and it has to be received by 9/23. What am I supposed to do if I don’t receive my new phone in time to mail my current phone in by the deadline?
