Do NOT buy iPhones from Xfinity!!!
Xfinity has a carrier lock that they will activate with iPhones that you buy from them. When you try to switch services, even if you transfer your line, they will not allow you to take your phone with you.
you can see other complaints about this if you search the internet.

I would be more than happy to offer my assistance. Xfinity mobile phones that are purchased and under finance are subjected to carrier lock. Please take a look at https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/eligible-to-unlock-phone for how the phone can be unlocked. Once a device is carrier unlocked it can be ported out to any other carrier of your choosing.
