Fraudulent charges

A cell phone to replace a new one that stopped working was supposed to be delivered here FedEx says it was someone signed for it I didn't realize this until a month later when an $899 charge was declined on my card this cell phone never came here both my roommates and I were here that day yet FedEx produces a document with a  mark on it to prove that someone signed for it at this address neither I nor my roommates signed for this yet I'm being charged for it luckily I never have $899 that they can just snatch out of my card I'm pretty sure this is illegal but I am in contact with an attorney so I will definitely be in touch with y'all
