user_7ajnrc Thanks for reaching out to us for help with the email concern. What error are you getting when you try to open emails, or send out emails? Are you using our app, website, or a third party app like Outlook to utilize your email?
user_bqem1p, Thank you for reaching out to Xfinity Support. Your Comcast email may be asking for your POP password due to a change in security settings. Specifically, access through the unsecured POP Port 110 is being blocked to protect your account. You should update your settings to use the secure POP Port 995 with SSL. If you are still using Port 110, you will need to enter your password again after making this change. Additionally, if you are switching from POP to IMAP, ensure that you have moved any important emails before deleting your POP account.
