I cannot activate my phone. I am transferring my account from Verizon. Tells me it is not eligible. Do not know why. It is a iPhone 11 Pro

I cannot activate by phone. I am transferring the phone from Verizon. Says it is not eligible. Don’t know why. It is a iPhone 11 pro

user_zdqzpc Thank you for stopping in for help with your iPhone 11 showing not eligible. If you are getting this message when using the Compatibility checker, it may be due to a few things. To use a phone you purchased with us on another provider, the phone would need to be paid off and active on account for a specific amount of time before it is locked. I would check to see with your current provider to make sure you meet their requirements to unlock the device are met.

Problem was solved.  The phone was in fact activated.  But the SIM card was not updated so still showed as Verizon. The ‘not eligible’ message was received when activation was tried again.  I phone 11 pro has a physical SIM card and needs to be manually replaced
