Most of the time, your phone will automatically unlock within 48 hours of being paid off, but we understand how important it is to have clarity on the process. Here are a few key requirements to keep in mind:
Your phone must be activated for at least 60 days.
It must be paid in full.
Your Xfinity Mobile account must be in good standing with no past-due balance.
The device must not be reported lost, stolen, or involved in any fraudulent activity.
If you meet all these conditions and your phone hasn’t unlocked yet, we’d be happy to take a closer look and help get things moving for you. If you could please send a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”, I'd be happy to help. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forum's page.
Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send your message
