Is there a way to get autopay option removed from xfinity mobile account?

I notice that the Internet side does not force you to use autopay. Why is mobile being forced to use autopay? Can we opt for that  option to be removed?

@user_m86dx1 You can’t turn it off. You can pay it before the autopay date if you want to select when the payment occurs.

@DreamSayerZ​ yes im aware of paying it early is an option but thats not my issue. Just not fond of autopay…thanks though

What he said is accurate though so it should have helped. I just got off the phone with Xfinity and [Edited: Language] at them myself about this. I recently switched to Xfinity mobile and noticed that I could not remove the auto pay on the app. So the auto pay is required. So how it was described to me was this… let's say that your bill generates on the 3rd of every month, but your bill is not due until the 20th, if you pay the full balance before the 20th, auto pay will not pull the money out. But it is required and you cannot remove it. Hope this helps.

user_m86dx1 Thank you for reaching out! The information that our awesome Community Problem Solver @DreamSayerZ provided you is correct. Auto Pay is enabled by default and there is no way to turn that off. You are welcome to make a one-time payment prior to the date your Auto Pay would trigger if you would like.

@XfinityBenjaminM​ Yes i am quite aware that paying the bill before is an option...sadly not everyone likes autopay. Doesn't make sense to allow internet to remove it but not mobile. Not cool
