Moisture/foreign material in charging/USB port

Just bought a new phone from Xfinity within 1-2 months and now I am getting the error message that there is moisture/foreign material in the port. I know for a fact that it did not get wet and have cleaned it/did all the steps from every post online. Has anyone had this happen and does Xfinity repair phones in store?
