Phone Locked

Team, I finished paying my phone and xfinity told me that my phone is unlocked from their end. But on my iphone carrier it shows that its still locked - I restarted, updated iphone, submitted a request to unlock, even bought a e-sim to try but still locked... can anyone please assist me asap!!
