Phone trade-in is a scam

In a previous posting about my experience with the phone trade-in program (read it here https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/devices/urgent-tradein-issue-rejection-and-lack-of-resolution-feels-like-a-scam/677c16387699a97c8906b0fb?commentId=6814746c9ad3b0659f002368 )

I had posted an update stating a deal I had worked out was being honored.  I tried to post a new update but the thread has been closed.  The new update is that the deal was honored for one month but has since been denied and won't be honored for the 23 remaining months it was supposed to be.

So, even though I have a recording of an Xfinity billing supervisor spelling out exactly the discounts to be given me (he acknowledges he knows I'm recording on the tape btw) Xfinity won't honor it and doesn't have to because it wasn't written out.

Thank you for reaching out to us here. I will be happy to look at any prior ticket or issue with that trade in. Can you send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service?

To send a direct message [private message]:

Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it
