Problem retrieving iPhone voicemail messages from an alternative device

Apparently since a recent iOS update, I  haven’t been able to retrieve my iPhone voicemail messages when using my home or another alternate Phone. Using the # Key does not work.

Thank you for responding! I'll take your advice and follow up with Apple Care. I'll post again if they are able to help find a solution.
