The RCS group chats stopped working on my Galaxy A53 5G phone two weeks ago.  I cannot send or receive RCS group chat messages.  I have cleared the Cache and followed all suggestions in order to return back to the chats and I am still receiving the message- Connecting with the status code 3000, please wait activation is ongoing.  I have submitted feedback to google as well, and no one has been able to assist me.

user_7txr1n, Hi! Thanks for reaching out. Thanks for letting us know what you’ve already tried. I know it’s frustrating to have RCS stuck on “Connecting,” especially when your group chats were working normally before. Since you’ve already cleared the cache and gone through the suggested troubleshooting, let’s take a closer look at the service and your Galaxy A53 5G to determine our next steps. Would you mind sending us a direct message with your first/last name and full address by clicking the "direct message" icon on the upper right page of the forum page? Once you click on that, click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon. In the 'To:" line, input our shared handle "Xfinity Support" to send us a direct message.

user_xy5y2v - Hello, and thank you for reaching out! Can you share a bit more about what you're experiencing and any troubleshooting steps you've tried? For example, going into your settings and toggling RCS chats off then the feature back on, and re-verify your phone number if prompted. We'll get to the bottom of this together!

After trying all of the standard troubleshooting techniques for a couple of days, I went to the Xfinity store yesterday. The technician said that there was a problem with my sim card, even though everything has been working fine for two and a half years. He wasn't able to change it at the time, because when I got my new number (that I don't use in order to get the free phone), in Xfinity's system the phones are not set up with the right numbers. I have to go back to the Xfinity store with both phones so the problem can be fixed.

@user_xy5y2v thank you for the update. The community and I appreciate this. When do you plan to revisit the store with both phones? I would like to set a reminder to follow up with you.
