Request to increase account line limit / Web upgrade error with Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra

Hello Xfinity Support team,I have been a loyal customer for over a year, maintaining both Xfinity Internet and Xfinity Mobile services with an excellent payment history. Currently, I have 5 active mobile lines.I am trying to upgrade one of my existing lines to the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra using the trade-in promotion. However, the Xfinity Mobile website is incorrectly processing my trade-in upgrade as an "additional/extra line" in the cart. Because I already have 5 lines, the system blocks the transaction and gives me an error stating that I have exceeded my line limit.Since I meet all eligibility requirements (account age, good standing, and bundled services), could you please escalate this to Tier 3 support or credit operations to manually increase my account line limit to 10 lines? Alternatively, please help me clear the system error so I can complete the upgrade on my existing phone number without it triggering a new line request.Thank you for your prompt assistance.

Hi there.  Thank you so much for reaching out on our Xfinity Community Forum about upgrading your device.  Can you confirm if the device you are trying to trade has been paid off?  Or, are you trying to do a early upgrade?

To increase line eligibility with Xfinity Mobile, you can consent to a credit check, which may allow for more DPP-eligible lines and a higher total dollar limit. This credit check is a soft inquiry and does not affect your credit score.
