Sim Unlock request

I bought my iPhone 17 Pro (unlocked) from Apple directly fully paid last Sept and activated it with Xfinity.  Last Nov 3, i lost my device and Xfinity advised me to file a claim with Assurant.  Assurant then sent me a replacement device and Xfinity activated it.  When I tried to add my international esim, it says my device is SIM-LOCKED.  I contacted Assurant and was told that all replacement devices from Assurant are all carrier locked and I have to ask Xfinity to unlock it.  I contacted Xfinity on chat multiple times and got promised that it will be sim-unlocked in 24 hrs and NOTHING happened, still locked.  I was advised to go to an xfinity store which I did.  I was told by the store manager that even though my original device was unlocked, Assurant sent me a locked one and I have to wait 60 days to get it unlocked.  60 days had passed and NO ONE from Xfinity support can unlock it.  All they do is keep locking/unlocking my phone number, not the device.  I went to an Xfinity store and they can't figure it out.  I contacted support on the phone and was told that my phone was a BYOD so Xfinity can't unlock it.  I explained to them that Assurant provided it and he advised me to contact Assurant.  I contacted Assurant and was told that ONLY Xfinity can unlock any carrier lock device on their network.  So please sim unlock my device.
