Subject: Requesting Manual CNAM/LIDB Update for Recycled Number.

I am a Washington customer. My number is broadcasting the previous owner's name ([Edited: "Personal Information"]). I need a Manual CNAM update to clear this. Please have an official employee reach out.

Hello JT2020, thank you for contacting us here in our Xfinity Community forums. I understand how the wrong name can be frustrating when you are trying to contact people. I will be happy to assist you with your concern regarding giving out the wrong name when you call. Are we talking about your landline phone number, or Xfinity Mobile phone?

Hi Jeff, this is for an Xfinity Mobile number [Edited: "Personal Information"].

My goal is to have the outbound CNAM (Caller ID Name) record updated for this line. Currently, it is broadcasting the previous owner's name, [Edited: "Personal Information"], which is confusing.

Since this is a recycled number, I would like the name record to be cleared so it shows up as a generic location (e.g., 'Washington') or simply 'Wireless Caller.' Please let me know if you can open a ticket with the mobile technical team to refresh the LIDB for this line.
