Trade In Scam
I am waiting to receive the remaining credits for a trade in. I traded in a device back in 2024 for a promotion. I was supposed to receive a credit for $1000. After 4 months of waiting I was told the trade in wasn’t received. I had tracking info showing the phone was delivered to the facility it was supposed to be delivered to. I was on the phone for about an hour and was told I would receive the credit of $41.66 monthly but I would have to call it in every month! Well, as inconvenient this is, I did it because who wants to be out of $1000? I called in for my November (last month) credit and was told they have reached the amount of credits they can give and that it has to be escalated for approval. I was promised I would see the credit in a couple of hours. That didn’t happen. I called again and was told the same thing. Again, no credit! I was told the ticked was processed. I talked to an agent once again who told me to go into the local store to get this issues resolved and they would note the account. I took the advice and went into the store. I explained the situation to a rep whose name is Clay. He looked at the account and said the ticked was denied and there is nothing he could do. I told him I think it’s time to get an attorney involved, he walked away, came back and said since your talking lawyers I can no longer help you! I asked once again of giving me the credit and making this right. He said again, I can’t help you. So I guess it’s time to lawyer up. I am soo tired of being given the run around by this company! They need to make this right!
