Unable to register Samsung Galaxy ZFold7 IMEI

Hello,

I have an unlocked Samsung Fold that will not register on your network.  IMEI 358910537129742.  It says incompatible with network and customer service on the phone and at store was not helpful.

I have wasted a bunch of time on this phone, it needs escalation to Executive Care to be added/whitelisted/made compatible with your network.  Phone is only 2-3 months old in my possession and I shouldn't have to but a new phone.

I am testing now to port all the businesses numbers over, 20-÷30.  Please fix this IMEI or authorize a direct phone swap with a Fold 7 that will work so Comcast can get the business.  We will subscribe for years and its this or TMobile and Starlink.

Thanks and please advise as to the repair/programming of this IMEI.  Please fix ASAP.

Hello Dsdodge21, thank you for reaching out here in our Xfinity Community forums. We appreciate you and your time. I have seen a similar situation before, so I have to ask; if your phone an international model? I ask because in the prior instances, the customer bought an international model (it would make sense if you travel, and want to have the freedom of a more versatile phone). The problem there where we come in, is those models are not compatible with our network. Are you able to verify if that may be the case here as well?

Hello Jeff,

I worked with the vendor who sold me tge device, they reached out to Comcast on their end, as they have a back-channel resource on staff and they determined that the phone is not going to work for this port, so they have agreed to swap out the unit with one tgat will register on the Comcast network,  so the problem should he resolved tomorrow when I get the replacement phone.
